No. I don’t buy this. I agree that democrats don’t have the votes to impeach him. But where are they? Why isn’t every Democrat up on the Hill showing up to the halls of congress. People who are mad at the democrats are mad because they are just not expressing the rage and frustration that we feel. They continue to be collegial and help appoint his cronies to offices. They need to show up, shout out and shut it all down.

Public opinion is galvanized against this war and this president. All Democrats can do is call attention by whatever means to what the majority of the country already knows. The Republicans are the ones who can create action. They are the majority and have the power to end this. Our way to stop this hateful lunacy is to vote for Democrats; give them the majority so they can actually exercise power. The Democrats can be infuriating but on the whole they believe in the Constitution and making life better for the country as a whole. IMHO, put blame where it lies... a feckless, self-serving Republican Party.

I subscribe strongly to Hamilton Nolan’s description of politicians. There are 2 kinds. The enemy and cowards. The republicans are the enemy. There is nothing to do to them but try and vote them out of power. Democrats are cowards. They like their cushy millionaire making lifetime positions. If we give them any space they will do everything they can to coast, to get along. We MUST demand more of them.
