Something that strikes me about the AI video I'm not seeing much talk about is that King Trump dropped shit from a fighter/bomber, one that the military uses a LOT in modern 'actions'. To me, implied with the dropping of shit is the *magnanimity* of NOT dropping lethal bombs. It says to me, I could kill you, but I, your king, have chosen to humiliate you.

He has had no consequences for anything he’s done ever that if you or me did so, would be shot dead and executed in Guantanamo Bay or on death row or in one of his gulags executed too.

Trump doesn’t care, until he sees any real ones he will continue to destroy everything in his path period.

I think it was PJ O'Rourke, in the run-up to the 2016 election, who said essentially what you've said here: that Trump is the first president who hasn't cared about the country one whit, whose only interest is Donald Trump. Even Nixon, Harding, Andrew Johnson, for as bad as they were, understood something about the office and the nation that has escaped Trump - something he never understood even pre-dementia.

He. Doesn’t. Care. Unless. He. Sees. Consequences.

Sadly, Trump wants to be an autocratic King and so far is above any laws: he was elected on hate/resentment and the failures of the last administration combined to enter fascism, period.

Not enough blame on the Left is ascribed to Biden etc, Trump wants to face Harris or Buttigieg the most of anyone in 2028 and I’ll leave it to you why he screams about Biden 24/7. The only way out is an outsider nominated who is obviously a straight white man where we are today imho, not in DC today, who can credibly diverge from them having nothing to do with their governance who can also repudiate Trump/Trumpism (Newsom will tank hard once vetted, there’s enough oppo there to almost rival Buttigieg’s and he’s imo not it that said, who is already in free fall as now people are waking up that he can’t win anything nationally with no Black male or female support despite endless media fawning).

"This is an administration characterized by virulent misogyny, and a president elected on the by white-hot male resentment. "

It’s a fascist man child kakistocracy regime, voted for by most US men, most white men, and however, by most white women too.

Believe Bannon when he says “Trump 28” as well, if he’s alive at 82 he’s running again for a third term damn the 22nd amendment (Newsom whined when some of us criticized him for putting him on his podcast, this is why Gavin btw).

Unfortunately, the only thing this country and Red states will vote for for Dems are what you expect period no matter the denial on many’s parts at this stage because this is how far back this country is (swing states are a different story/Purple ones, but for President, given 2/3 of the last elections this country won’t elect one thing against Trump though I also think a nonwhite man would lose too at this point in time to him too sadly).

This is brilliant analysis. "It’s not about principles. It’s about dominance. These are not people who love American democracy and our history. They are people who simply want their guy in charge, so that he might humiliate, denigrate, and destroy the Americans they collectively dislike." It's not just the power to amass wealth or to be in control---this is about hatred. That, to me, is the scariest aspect. Because it means that Trump supporters won't care about what he's done, they won't care that he's destroying the country. What a nice legacy of preservation for the "Heritage" Foundation. What an admirable example of conservation for the conservatives.

Remember when Donald Trump said he could shoot someone in the middle of Fifth Avenue and not lose any voters?

Well, he was wrong. What he should have said is he could tank the economy, upend the international order, lay siege to the Capitol Building, demolish huge parts of the White House, and undermine the very foundations of American democracy and still not lose any voters.

This is what happens when an egomaniac with no self control gets elected president.

I take issue with the notion that Trump is a star. The term is used to describe performing artists whose work is popular and exceptional, distinguished, recognized for its lasting value. Trump’s stardom is self proclaimed. That in itself demonstrates a lack of star quality. His notoriety as an entertainer derives from his cliched work in a successful, if second rate, reality TV show. He’s a celebrity, for sure, but a star? No way! Would a star insist his status conferred groping privileges?
